We will be participating in the Cookie Walk & Howliday Bazaar again this holiday season!
Twelve animal welfare non-profit organizations will have booth space at this event to showcase the excellent work they do and sell handcrafted items to fund their programs. These programs allow them to make a difference in the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of animals every year.
For only $8 a pound, you get to choose from more than 500 dozen homemade cookies, candies, and bars to share with your friends, family, and coworkers. Frosted sugar cookies, fudge, assorted candies, and seasonal favorites are just a sampling of the items we are offering this year.
While the cookie walk is for people, several of the groups may be selling dog and cat treats at their booths. We’re sorry, but this is not a pet-friendly event because of the food involved.
Come early for the best selection of baked goods and crafts!
This year, the participating groups include: Animal Resource Foundation, Animal Welfare Friends, Cedar Valley Pit Bull Rescue, Better Together Animal Rescue, Fur Fun Rescue, German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Iowa (GSDRI), Hero’s Haven, Iowa Humane Alliance, Last Hope Animal Rescue, SAINT Rescue, Safe Haven of Iowa County, and Wildthunder WARS.
